Medical Assisting
NEW PROGRAM IN 2026-2027
The Medical Assistant Program prepares students for careers in healthcare by building the knowledge and skills needed to support both clinical and administrative functions in medical settings.
Students learn medical terminology, disease processes, pharmacology, and medical office administration, gaining a strong foundation in patient care, communication, and safety. Upon completion, students have the opportunity to earn their Medical Office Administrator Assistant Certificate. This certificate is the first semester of the full MA certificate at Front Range Community College.
