Pharmacy Technician

Teacher and students pose in classroom

NEW PROGRAM IN 2026-2027

The Pharmacy Technician Program prepares students with the knowledge and skills needed to assist pharmacists in providing safe, accurate, and ethical patient care.

Students learn the fundamentals of pharmacology, medical terminology, and pharmacy law and ethics while gaining a strong understanding of disease processes and drug therapy. Coursework emphasizes drug classification, dosage calculation, and record interpretation, as well as professional standards and regulatory compliance.

Courses in this program can be transferred to FRCC to complete a Pharmacy Technician Certificate or Pharmaceutical Sciences AAS. FRCC has an articulation agreement with Regis University for students to continue their advanced pharmacy degrees.
